Driftwood is used as part of The Tale of the Muspah Quest. During the quest, players must fashion the driftwood into crude Fire rafts with the aid of a knife.
Driftwood is also used in penguin hunting if you search the destroyed boat. you can set up deadfall traps with driftwood and a knife
