Dragon rider boots are boots dropped by the King Black Dragon introduced with a graphical overhaul of the dragon and its habitat. They require 60 Defence to wear.
They have the largest prayer boost available in their slot, a title previously held by white, torva, pernix, virtus, Armadyl and Bandos boots at +1. It has the same stats as Rune boots, except for the prayer bonus.
They once belonged to Hannibus, the last of the Dragon Riders and author of the book Last riders. He likely died in the King Black Dragon's Lair, due to his old age.
