The divine sigil was released on 15 September 2008. It can be attached to a blessed spirit shield to make a divine spirit shield. To attach the sigil to the blessed spirit shield, players need 90 Prayer and 85 Smithing.

It is only obtainable as a very rare drop from the Corporeal Beast or by trading with another player.

Currently, the divine sigil is the most expensive of the four sigils, so expectedly, the divine spirit shield is also the most expensive spirit shield out of the six (including the regular and blessed spirit shields). Regardless of this information, it is believed that the chance of getting the divine sigil is just as likely as getting an elysian sigil and twice as likely as getting a spectral or arcane sigil.

Trivia

• While the elysian sigil is equally rare from the Corporeal Beast as the divine sigil, the divine sigil's price is higher due to its more reliable special effect.
• The divine sigil is the most expensive drop from a monster.
• If you get one of these as a drop, a system announcement will go out to all players who have their game filter set to on.
• On 15 March 2011, with the ring of wealth upgrade, there was a glitch that made the Corporeal Beast drop all four sigils, at a near 100% drop rate. This was patched shortly after and the sigils saw very little price change.
