A Depleted pendant was the result of using a Pendant of Skill to the end of its charge; until then, it provided double experience in the skill corresponding to the pendant. The Pendant of Skill, only obtainable as a reward from the Squeal of Fortune, turned into a Depleted pendant once all of the charges are used. This item had no way of being recharged, provided no bonuses while being worn, and had no clear uses except for cosmetic purposes.
After 13 November 2012, these items became discontinued; any pendants used after that time do not become depleted pendants, in order for them to be recharged using the recharge gems.
