Dark Wizard Elijah is a dark wizard who is working for the concealed dwarf by enchanting certain rocks to summon Living rock brawlers. He has a diary which is dropped by the brawler at the south-east Varrock mining site.
According to his diary, Elijah has been studying the living rock creatures located under Falador in the Living Rock Caverns. He has used some of his binding magic that he has studied to try and mimic the living rock creatures outside of the caverns, which ultimately has created the working but far weaker living rock brawlers. It is also noted that after the quest, Boric asks the player to do a task of going around to different mining sites to slay more living rock brawlers that have attacked dwarf miners working for Doric & Son. This shows that Elijah has continued to create brawlers even after working for Boric, mostly to try and perfect the binding spells.
