H.A.M. agent Daniel is a character encountered during The Chosen Commander quest. Daniel is amongst those radical members of H.A.M. that chose to ally themselves with Sigmund. He can be pickpocketed for Daniel's letter during the quest.
When Daniel was young, he sought to become an apprentice in the Wizards' Tower of southern Misthalin. After eventually being accepted, he was sent on a simple task outside the Tower. On his way to Draynor Village, however, he was attacked by a small party of goblins that stole his possessions, amongst them his rune supply. Because the rune supply in the human kingdoms was so low at the time, Daniel was not permitted re-admittance.
Daniel was killed in the Assault on Sigmund's Base, whether by goblin soldiers or in the ensuing cave-in.
