Dagon'hai Monks are found after finishing the Hunt for Surok miniquest. They can be found by entering the Chaos Tunnels via the entrance near the Mage of Zamorak. Once in, players should run south past the Giant Rock Crabs and use the southernmost portal. They sometimes drop their robes which are used during While Guthix Sleeps. Players do not need to have started this quest to get the robes as a drop, but to wear them they need 40 Magic, 20 Defence and to have completed the miniquest.
Dagon'hai monks attack using the spell Earth Bolt, which hits up to 110. They are located in a multi-combat area with Zamorak warriors. It is highly recommended for players without a high Magic level to use the Protect from Magic prayer or Deflect Magic Curse. It is possible to avoid fighting the Zamorak warriors in certain places. However, they will still attack occasionally, so it is best to bring some food as the warriors can consistently hit in the 80s.

Trivia
- They do not wear, but do drop, the black robe top and the black wizard hat, as well as the plain staff, but it is very common for attackable mages to drop armour pieces which seem not to fit with their own. Similarly, they drop the Dagon'hai hat, but they don't wear it. However, it would mean that the Dagon'hai members, even when not wearing a desired piece of the set, they have hold of it. Their other drops of runes and talismans are common amongst mages.
