The Coif (class 3) can be used within the Stealing Creation minigame. It requires 40 Ranging to wear and 40 Crafting to make. Like all sacred clay items, it can be traded freely between players who are on the same team during the minigame. The full Class 3 ranged set is favoured by many players as it requires no defence levels. It is often used more than the melee armour.
