Players receive a Christmas spirit jar from Kris during the 2011 Christmas event. In order to create the Christmas banquet, Kris asks players to fill up the jar with player's spirit by using the jar on NPCs or other players three times. When used on a player or NPC, you will say "Merry Christmas (name)!". When the jar is full and used on another player, the extra spirit just escapes into the air. The animation for this resembles the Guthan's armour set effect.
After the jar is full, it can be used on Kris to help prepare the banquet.
You can retreive another jar from Kris and continue to use the Christmas spirit jar on your friends while in the event after the quest is complete. The jar is removed from your inventory once you leave the area through the leave portal.
