A chef's hat is a white hat that allows players to enter the Cooks' Guild if they have the required Cooking level of 32. Other than this they serve no purpose, except for the aesthetics.
They are sometimes dropped by imps and goblins. Members can get an infinite supply from teak shelves 2, made using the Construction skill. It can also be bought from Beefy Bill

Trivia
- Troll cooks such as Burntmeat wear chef hats.
- If players have completed all of the Hard Varrock Tasks, you will not need to wear any piece of armour to enter the Cooking Guild. A Cooking cape also allows entry. Completing the hard tasks in Varrock also allows players to cook in the range there and also a bank next to it.
