Brawling gloves (mining) (also known as Mining brawling gloves) are obtained as a random drop from Revenants, and the Chaos Elemental.
The gloves provide 50% bonus while training on the Mining skill. In addition, the gloves provide a 300% bonus to experience if players train while in the Wilderness. The gloves last for 30 minutes of mining (estimated at around 350-800 ores, depending on the players mining level) , and disintegrates after the charges are used up.
They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses whatsoever.
The best way to use these gloves is to mine rocks east of the green dragons in level 7 wilderness. There are multiple coal rocks and many skeletons to protect you if a PKer tries to attack you. The skeleton will attack the PKer, slowing them down and allowing you to run to safety. Food and lightweight armour as well as a teleport is necessary for this technique.
Another option is to use them at the hobgoblin mine south of the lava maze. This location has 8 adamant rocks as well as an abundance of mithril rocks allowing for more xp per item. However there are many aggressive level 28 hobgoblins so players with low defence may need food and/or armour.
The gloves stack with the Penance Horn and the Sacred Clay Pickaxe, resulting in a an experience boost of 500% (6 times normal experience).
