The Boneguard is a monster in the Enakhra's Lament quest. Two are present in the quest. Both are enchanted creatures, guarding Enakhra's Temple against their own wills. You break the enchantment of the first bone guard by casting Crumble Undead on it, which frees its trapped soul and turns to a Pile of bones. You make the second bone guard cease being hostile by using the Protect from Melee Prayer, which convinces it you are powerful. You later break the enchantment on the second one, which is revealed to be Akthanakos, enemy of Enakhra.
