The Battle of TzHaar City was a minor conflict between the TzHaar City beneath Karamja Volcano and a rogue group of lesser demons that occurred in the Year 65 of the Fifth Age. The battle of referenced only by TzHaar-Mej-Kol, who claims to remember the event, albeit with little clarity. It is one of very few battles in which the TzHaar have been involved, and the only known conflict in which the race has fought since the God Wars of the Third Age.
The battle evidently began when a group of native lesser demons attacked the entrance to TzHaar City, seemingly without provocation. The gate which protected the city's entrance had been crafted only recently by TzHaar-Hur-Bol, one of the city's craftsmen caste. Despite its good quality, it was destroyed in the attack.
TzHaar-Ket-Kad, a TzHaar guardsman that was near the gate, immediately responded by attacking the aggressors single-handedly. Without aid, Kad managed to push the demons away from the city entrance, although whether any were killed or seriously injured has not been stated.
Whether or not the demons had fought with the city before or have since shown hostility towards the TzHaar race is unknown. The cave entrance which Bol's gate once guarded is now an open tunnel, suggesting that the two races have since remained at relative peace. A group of lesser demons still occupies the Crandor and Karamja Dungeon today, likely making them a part of the very group that attacked the city 104 years ago.
