- This article is about the Stealing Creation item. For barriers in general, see Physical boundary.
The Barrier from the Stealing Creation minigame is made by using any class of Sacred Clay on a Creation kiln. The class of the barrier is dependant on the class of the clay used to create it. The barrier is used to keep members of the opposing team from accessing a resource that your team has. The barrier will create a wall around the resource with shields colour-coded to the team that created it. Only members of the team which created the barrier can pass the shields. The barrier will also act as a new respawn point for players of that team.
The enemy team can attack the barrier and break it down, although if the barrier is repaired they will be forced to click it again to continue attacking it. Combat spells cannot be used on the barrier, players will instead walk up to the barrier and use their default melee attack. Rangers are still able to attack the barrier normally, but they will not lose any arrows.

Strategy
The barrier keeps the enemy team from getting to whatever you placed it around. There are several reasons that you might wish to keep the other team out. One reason might be to protect the low level skillers from attack while the players that wish to kill take care of them. Another reason could be to keep the other team from taking your team's higher level of clay. You may also wish to build the barrier around a creation kiln so the other team may not use it.
Barriers cannot be set up if there are enemy players inside the plot. If one enters at the exact moment a barrier is constructed, they would be pushed out.
Miscellanous
A barrier degrades over time or after being attacked by an enemy and must be repaired; however, a barrier can only be repaired by the same class of clay it was built from or higher. Therefore, a constructed class 5 barrier cannot be repaired by using class 1-4 barriers with it, while a constructed class 3 barrier can be repaired using class 3, 4 or 5 barriers. Always use the lowest possible quality of barriers when repairing and save the higher levels for those that could only be repaired by them.
