Bandos boots are part of the Bandos armour set, which requires 65 Defence to wear. It is dropped by General Graardor and his sergeants in the God Wars Dungeon. It was the strongest defence stats for any boots until Steadfast boots were released through the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest, and is one of only two pairs of boots that have a prayer bonus, the other boots being White boots.
These boots are the odd one out of the Bandos armour set, as the chestplate and tassets sacrifice defence (albeit a small amount) to give strength bonus; while these boots have the second best defence of any boots, they also give 0 strength bonus. This is the reason why most players, even while wearing a Bandos chestplate and Bandos tassets, will usually wear Dragon boots instead because it gives a +4 strength bonus for a negligible loss in defence (and prayer) while also having fewer negative bonuses. This is probably also the reason why the price of Bandos boots is relatively cheap compared to other Bandos armour. Players commonly use Dragon Boots instead of this with other pieces of armour. Also because of this Bandos full commonly refers to the Bandos Chestplate and Bandos Tassets and not the boots, because the frequency of using it is very low.
It is commonly used for protection against Bandos followers. Wearing these boots will prevent followers of Bandos from attacking players in the God Wars Dungeon.

Trivia
- On the day of the release of the new Hitsplats and Damage soaking, there was a glitch in the knowledge database that stated that Bandos boots had damage absorption properties. This was a mistake, as the bonuses belonged to the Bandos chestplate and not the boots. This has been fixed.
