Ailanthus twigs are an item used in the quest In Pyre Need, and the subsequent phoenix lair distractions and diversions activity. It is obtained by using secateurs on an ailanthus tree inside the Phoenix Lair. These can then be used with a knife to make an Ailanthus weaving ribbon.The only use for these are inside the Phoenix Lair, to make the basket for the Phoenix. If you try taking them out of the Lair, they will disappear.
