Avalani's hat is an item worn by Avalani. It was initially discovered along with the robe top and bottoms through Quick Chat, as an item that can be stored in a player's Toy box in their Player-owned House's Costume Room, and listed in the Seasonal Items Guide section of the Game Guide on the official RuneScape website.
According to the Seasonal Items Guide on the official RuneScape website, Avalani's hat, along with Avalani's robe top, Avalani's robe bottoms, and the Rock fragment, are the rewards from the Cryptic Clue Fest III.
