Description | The dwarves of Keldagrim are said to be the world's greatest sculptors, and a gravestone of dwarven design is an unparallelled work of art. |
The royal dwarven gravestone is a 15 minute grave stone released on 4 January 2011, along with (and requiring) the King of the Dwarves quest. It is available from Blasidar the sculptor in Keldagrim for 500k. It is the longest-lasting gravestone in the game, followed by the equally priced Angel of Death which lasts only 12 minutes.
Trivia
- During the Halloween 2011 event, an advertised Royal Dwarven Gravestone read "The only way to meet a dwarf taller than you! You know, because they're short and stuff."
- After its release, the royal dwarven gravestone became a source of some criticism in-game and on the RuneScape forums for the fact that its functionality was identical to the Angel of Death, in that they both lasted for 6 minutes and cost 500,000 coins each. However, this has been resolved with the 1 February update, which upped both timers to 15 and 12 minutes respectively.
