• Astlayrix's name and examine text refer to the '80s pop star Rick Astley, as well as ending in '-ix' like other Druidic names in RuneScape, after ancient Gaulish Celtic naming conventions (examples being Dumnorix, Vercingetorix, and Ambiorix), in which the common suffix -rix means 'king', cognate with the Latin rex.
