Stegoleather body is a piece of the Tier 8 Stegoleather ranged set that was released with the Dungeoneering update. It requires 70 Ranged and 70 Defence to wear, and protects better than black dragonhide armour, but offers a lower ranged attack bonus (+23, vs. +30).
The body can be crafted at level 79 by using a needle and thread with 5 pieces of Stegomastyx hide in the player's inventory, earning 397 Crafting experience. A needle and thread can be bought from the Smuggler, as well as the hides for an expensive price.
Creating This Item
- Obtain 5 pieces of stegomastyx hide, which can be obtained by trapping an stegomastyx or by buying them from the smuggler.
- Obtain a needle and some thread either from buying them from the smuggler or my some other method.
- Use the needle on one of the hides and choose to create a Stegoleather body.
