Godslayer is a music track that is unlocked before completing the quest The Chosen Commander. The name references the player defeating the Bandos Avatar and thus, Bandos himself, leaving him unable to indirectly have any power over Gielinor; at least, for the time being. It is similar to Zanik's Theme, from the previous quest, Land of the Goblins but in a softer tone.
Analysis
It begins with soft, high-pitched strings, synthesisers and piano. Afterwards, the familiar Zanik's Theme is played solo by piano before a synthesiser is added playing a tune increasing in pitch and tempo. Violins then play an up-beat, high-pitched and victorious tune, eventually increasing in tempo, intensity and strength and wind instruments continue with Zanik's Theme. The theme of this track is joyful, triumphant and adventurous.
