Remote view
Remote view is an ability of certain flying Summoning familiars.
Familiars with this ability can fly into the air allowing you to see through their eyes, thus giving you the ability to see things farther away. This is useful when scouting out safe spots and when looking for dangerous enemies.
Currently, the Macaw and the Ravenous locust have this ability.
You can look in these directions:
- South
- North
- East
- West
- Straight up
Restrictions
Some areas are limited to the Remote View ability. For example, if you try to view south of the Wizards Tower, a message will appear saying: "There seems to be an obstruction in the direction; the familiar cannot fly there". Some believe that this may occur because it might surprise players who are still on Tutorial Island, but as the Tutorial Island that players used to arrive on before the update was surrounded by unknown, the Tutorial Island south of Wizard's tower is actually a copy, which means no players are actually on it. Of course since the tutorial update, no players pass through Tutorial Island anymore, but one still cannot view Tutorial Island regardless.
