San Fan is leader of the Cutthroat team in the Trouble Brewing minigame. Her team is one of the two teams producing 'rum' as competition to the Captain Braindeath's rum factory. Joining her will put players in the blue team. Her rival is Fancy Dan, the leader of the red Gilded Smile team.
If players join Honest Jimmy, he will put players in either team. Jimmy sells the team flag, Cutthroat flag, for 200 Pieces of Eight.
She is from the Eastern Lands, similar to Ak-Haranu found in Port Phasmatys.
If the player talks to her about Braindeath rum, Captain Braindeath will appear and start talking about his rum being 200% more disgusting than last time.
