The Quest guide was the fourth non-player character whom players met in RuneScape. He gave players information about quests and the quest journal. He also explained the differences between free quests and members quests. He was only found on Tutorial Island, and can never be encountered again. During his lecture, he made references to the quests Imp Catcher and Dragon Slayer.
After the update where Tutorial Island was replaced by Learning the Ropes, which in turn was later replaced by the current tutorial, the Quest guide is no longer in-game.
