The Locating crystal is a quest item that is obtained during the Shilo Village quest quest by searching the dolmen in tomb of Beverius. It is used to locate the tomb of Rashiliya. After the quest is finished, it no longer functions but can be sold to Yanni Salika in Shilo Village for 500 coins.
If the player tries to destroy the crystal, it will break and damage the player for 100 life points. This can however be avoided by a bug, as soon as the rock leaves your inventory DO NOT click the prompt that states that exploding glass has hit you. Instead click something like "bank banker" or a skill to abort it. You will then not be damaged.
