The Asgarnian ale barrel is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Kitchen of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. The barrel, used with an empty beer glass, supplies the player with an unlimited amount of Asgarnian ale. The beer cannot be taken outside of a player-owned house.

Building an Asgarnian ale barrel requires at least level 18 Construction, level 20 Cooking, 3 oak planks and 8 glasses of Asgarnian ale (Warning: ales and ciders obtained from barrels in a player-owned house cannot be used). It gives 184 experience when built.

It's interesting to note that ale taken from a POH barrel cannot be used to make another barrel of Asgarnian Ale or be used to make a flatpack item. If you teleport or leave the house with Asgarnian Ale taken from your POH barrel, the glasses of ale will disappear. If you attempt to bank it using a servant, the servant will refuse to bank it.
