2008 – Christmas Cards chosen by players in the Guaranteed Content Poll are released by Jagex.
2008 – Hidden update: Jagex drastically reduces the amount of coins a player would receive from Advisor Ghrim for trading flatpack Magical cape racks. Those who completed the Fremennik Province Tasks and had level 99 in Construction were making and trading them for a profit of 7-8 million per hour. This oversight lasted roughly 24 hours.
