Unified Runecrafting Theory

The Unified Runecrafting Theory is a physics theory that ultimately is intended to place the entire physical and magical structure of runecrafting within a specific field.

The theory is largely underdeveloped, although it is currently being researched by the runecrafting guild. The theory's earliest conception was likely during the early days of runecrafting study, when the Wizards' Tower was established as a result of the Moon Clan's spread of runes. Following the burning of the Wizards' Tower in the Year 70 by Zamorakian mages, runecrafting theory suffered a major decline as the rune supply dwindled.

Furthermore, the Winter of 114 forced the human nations to turn to more secular scientific thought. It was only with the re-discovery of runecrafting in the Year 169 that more in-depth studies continued. Today the theory is studied heavily in the Runecrafting Guild and Wizards' Tower, and is also a likely point of research in the Wizards' Guild and others.

Trivia

  • The ideas behind the Unified Runecrafting Theory are similar to the real-world Unified field theory, type of field theory that allows all of the fundamental forces between elementary particles to be written in terms of a single field.
