- Conversation 1
- Player: Isn’t it a lovely day, Titan?
- Lava titan: It is quite beautiful. The perfect sort of day for a limerick. Perhaps, I could tell you one?
- Player: That sounds splendid.
- Lava titan: There once was a bard of Edgeville,
- Lava titan: Whose limericks were quite a thrill,
- Lava titan: He wrote this one here,
- Lava titan: His best? Nowhere near,
- Lava titan: But at least half a page it did fill.
- Conversation 2
- Player: I was just thinking about the River Lum, Titan. Isn’t it beautiful?
- Lava titan: I had a bad experience with the River Lum once. Would you like me to tell you about it?
- Player: Well, okay, but only if it’s in the form of a limerick.
- Lava titan: I once saw a river called Lum,
- Lava titan: So lovely I had to succumb,
- Lava titan: The results, they were grave,
- Lava titan: For I boiled all the waves,
- Lava titan: And ended up just feeling glum.
- Conversation 3
- Player: Titan, I wish I had more money.
- Lava titan: Money doesn’t always bring happiness. I know a limerick about money as it happens. Would you like to hear it?
- Player: Sure.
- Lava titan: There was a king of Ardougne,
- Lava titan: Who cared too much about coin,
- Lava titan: He filled up ten pools,
- Lava titan: Then swam amongst jewels,
- Lava titan: And wouldn’t let anyone join.
- Conversation 4
- Player: I’m quite a warrior, you know, Titan! I was just reminiscing about how I defeated Glough.
- Lava titan: Glough, eh? I’ve heard of that fellow. In fact, I happen to know a limerick about him.
- Player: Oh, really? Well, I’m quite busy; perhaps you could tell me some oth-
- The titan seems rather excited and launches into the limerick regardless!
- Lava titan: There once was a scoundrel called Glough,
- Lava titan: For whom nothing was ever enough,
- Lava titan: His goal was the world,
- Lava titan: Battle standard unfurled,
- Lava titan: But he luckily wasn’t that tough!
- Conversation 5
- Player: Are you hungry?
- Lava titan: Hmm...no, I don't think so. I don't need to eat, you see.
- Player: Oh, how awful. Food is delicious, you'd love it!
- Lava titan: It's alright. I met a dwarf once who described it all to me. In fact, I wrote a limerick in his honour.
- Player: Oh, I'd love to hear it.
- Lava titan: I once met a dwarf who loved pie,
- Lava titan: For a redberry one he would cry,
- Lava titan: `I do love you so.'
- Lava titan: `From berry to dough.'
- Lava titan: Then he'd eat it and let out a sigh.
