The bathus pickaxe is a Tier 2 pickaxe, found in Daemonheim. It requires level 10 Attack to wield, and level 10 Mining to mine the various ores in Daemonheim.

It can be made from one bathus bar, requiring level 12 Smithing and giving 20 experience. It is a possible drop from the Bulwark Beast and an animated pickaxe.

Players may use this when attacking the Bulwark Beast, as it can be quickly purchased from the Smuggler's shop and has better attack bonuses than a novite pickaxe that is found in one corner of the boss room. However most find it preferable to buy a marmaros pickaxe instead, because of its higher bonuses.

Toolbelt

On a toolbelt, the bathus pickaxe can be used to automatically mine rocks containing ores, rocks blocking one's path and rocks in the Stomp boss's room. Additionally, it is used automatically as a side-attack to chip away at the Bulwark beast's armour if using a melee weapon.
