Thrander was discontinued from RuneScape after an update. |
Thrandor[sic] has taken a well earned holiday to parts unknown, for he believed his services were no longer needed in Varrock, and issued his resignation to King Roald at short notice. It seems there is some small desire to see his position filled once more though, so perhaps the council will be able to track him down and offer him his old job back, possibly with a pay rise and increased benefits package.

Thrander was an armourer that used to live in Varrock, in RuneScape Classic. He was located in the building with the anvils near the east bank. He could change players' body armour and leg armour to either male or female versions and vice-versa. He performed this service for free. All a player needed to do was click their piece of armour and use it with Thrander. He was removed before the release of RuneScape 2 due to players frequently buying cheaper female character armour and converting them into more expensive male character armour.
Strangely, in the God Letter quoted above Saradomin mispelt his name as 'Thrandor'.
