The Shaikahan is a lion-like creature which prowls the eastern jungle of Karamja and is involved in the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. It can be killed after completing the quest by using karambwan-poisoned spears (including hastae) and/or a Ring of Recoil. The ring (or poison weapon) is the only way to damage the Shaikahan before and after the quest is complete. It has a unique drop of Shaikahan bones, which give 25 Prayer experience when buried.
Trivia
- In the Monkey Madness quest, a monkey that the player rescues from the Ardougne Zoo occasionally has a nightmare with the Shaikahan.
- Before completing the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest, you could kill the Shaikahan with a poisoned weapon. Despite the fact you hit 0's, you would poison him and he would eventually succumb to the poison and die.
- The Shaikahan received a graphical update on 25 May 2011.
- The Shaikahan (along with the Saradominist bodyguard Growler ) is the only known lion-like monster in RuneScape.
- The Shaikahan does not appear on the minimap.
- The Shaikahan has two tails. However, before a graphical update, The Shaikahan only had one tail.
