The Chief was the given name of a Fremennik mercenary active during the God Wars. The Chief appears only in the FunOrb strategy game Armies of Gielinor.
Unlike most Fremennik, who tried to survive the God Wars by moving in nomadic tribes, The Chief chose to lend his combat services in exchange for pay. This ultimately led to his service to Zamorak, for whom he fought near the end of his life.
Players fight The Chief in the "Barbarism Starts at Home" level of the Saradomin Strikes campaign. The Chief, along with soldiers such as Pazuzu, attempts to combat Saradominist forces west of the River Lum, near what is now the Misthalanian Gunnarsgrunn. It was during this fight that he ultimately met his death.
