The Profitable High Alchemy template is used to display a table of profitable high alchemy items as a part of the Grand Exchange Market Watch.

Implementation

This dynamic table makes use of the DynamicPageList extension (see manual) to the wiki to format the list from the Profitable Alchemy Items category. The Profitable Alchemy Items category is automatically updated when the exchange price for an item is updated.

The filter also only selects pages in the "Exchange" namespace to avoid problems attempting to process articles that might also be manually added to the Profitable Alchemy Items category.

In order to extract pricing and high alchemy values for the items and to format the table, the table makes use of the DynamicPageList includepage with the 'surrogate' template method. By using the 'suffix' of "/HighAlchTable" means that the template for formatting the rows becomes Template:ExchangeItem/HighAlchTable.
