Usage

This template exactly like Template:CiteDevDiary, with two exceptions. First, it is not a reference template in the sense that it does not create footnote-styled references. Instead, it creates the same text that {{CiteDevDiary}} would as a non-reference. This is desirable if a certain Dev. Diary is the source of the majority of an article, as having the same reference at the end of every sentence. Second, it does not have the "name" parameter, as this only applies to footnote-style references.

Author

The author of the Development Diary is found at the top or bottom of the page, however there is not always an author provided. If there is no author, put "Jagex" as the author to prevent it from appearing as incomplete.

URL

Make sure to include the full URL, including the http://.

Title

The title of the Development Diary, found on this page.

Diarydate

The date the diary was added which appears at the top of the page.

Notes

Optional. This parameter allows you to add text beginning one space after end end of the citation. Having no formatting (meaning you will have to format it yourself), this area can be used for anything you require.

Date

Leave this field as ~~~~~, it will auotmatically be converted to the proper date and time format. When verifying the reference, delete whatever is provided and change it to ~~~~~.
