Template:Graphical updates table/large/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Graphical updates table/large. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template is used to create the table used for graphical updates subpages. In order to allow entries to be sorted, the template uses unnamed parameters. Each entry in the table, therefore, must use exactly six parameters, in order. This table is a larger variant of Template:Graphical updates table, with only one entry per row, with the images being a maximum of 400x400 pixels.

Syntax

These five values can be repeated nearly an infinite number of times (up to 500 entries). Note that the sixth parameter is a blank spacer which must be included for the template to function correctly, but can contain anything and isn't actually used in rendering the table (it's purpose is to make the source view considerably easier to read).

Also note that there cannot be line breaks in the parameters.

Name of item

This is the name of the entry, and will be automatically linked to a page. It's possible to make the text link to a different page than the displayed text by using Page to link to{{!}}Text to display.

Optional note

This allows an optional plain-text entry to be added preceding the linked name of the entry. Its primary purpose is when the entry was graphically updated multiple times. In such case, the first instance might have an optional note parameter of (1), the second would have (2) and so forth. If not used, leave the parameter blank (but don't exclude the vertical bar).

Name of old image

This is the file name of the old image, without the preceding File:.

Name of new image

This is the file name of the new image, without the preceding File:.

Boolean switch for small images

This optional boolean value (true-false) should be set to "1" if the old image's width is less than 290 pixels, and set to "0" otherwise.
