Usage

Put {{subst:Block}} on the talk page of someone who is temporarily blocked from the wiki.

Using the syntax {{subst:Block|Block time}}, where "Block time" is the amount of time the offender is blocked (for example, '3 days'), replaces the part of the message referencing the user's block log with "Your block is set to expire in Block time."
