Summer sun ring is an item available from the Squeal of Fortune throughout the summer months and will be disabled in 2013, becoming a purely cosmetic item (although you will still be able to activate the sun effect). When equipped, the ring can be right-clicked to activate an emote.
It is meant to portray a positive mood, while its counterpart, the Summer storm ring shows the wearer as feeling a bit down.
In spite of the fact that the summer sun ring currently provides stat bonuses, it is possible to wear it into Entrana, thereby making it one of the few stat boosting items (like the wicked hood) that can be taken there.
