A Steel ingot i is an item used in Artisans Workshop to make Miner helm (steel), Miner chestplate (steel), Miner gauntlets (steel), and Miner boots (steel). They can be made by using an iron ore and two coal on the smelter. They are not interchangeable with the Steel ingot i used to make Cart Tracks.
Experience
Smithing these bars at the Artisans Workshop into burial armour normally gives 131 experience per bar. However when following Suak's instructions they can give up to 147 experience (with the quick learner reward).
