A Spin ticket is an item used to give a player one additional spin on the Squeal of Fortune. They are obtained while skilling, participating in Distraction and Diversions, or killing monsters.

A spin ticket may only be claimed once, after which the ticket is destroyed and must be reobtained. Another spin ticket may be obtained even when another exists in the inventory. However, spin tickets cannot be deposited into the bank, nor can they be alchemised. If the player earns a spin with a full inventory whilst skilling, it will be redeemed automatically. Players may not have more than 10 extra spins at a time, attempting to claim another warns the player You must use up an earned spin before claiming another spin ticket. Spin tickets cannot be lost unless the 'Destroy' option is performed.

Tickets are obtainable as a rare drop from the vast majority of monsters, notably excluding all Dungeoneering monsters. They are also obtainable from any skilling activity that can produce strange rocks for the Shattered Heart activity, although significantly rarer.

Earning a spin ticket prompts the message: "Congratulations! You've earned a ticket for a free spin on the Squeal of Fortune!" and claiming it: "Congratulations! You have earned a spin on the Squeal of Fortune!" as well as an audible yell and graphical pop-out from Yelps.

Every month the player will be able to earn a free spin ticket from playing a game of Troll Invasion. Each Wednesday, a different Distraction and Diversion is chosen to grant players a free spin ticket; this involves doing a simple task involved with the activity such as claiming penguin points (regardless of whether one has actually spotted them during that week) or chopping one root off of an Evil Tree.
