Sloane is found within the Warriors' Guild, where he runs the shotput minigame, which earns Strength tokens. He also sells the Strength cape of accomplishment. He is found on the first floor across the room opposite to the stairs. You go up the stairs, move the direction opposite of stairs then you go left to 2 big doors.
Sloane wields a large axe, which he claims to have acquired in a bet from Yadech Strongarm, a barbarian. The bet was to catch a squirrel while holding the axe. The barbarian failed, but Sloane chased it up a tree, then cut the tree down with the axe, catching the squirrel, and relieved the barbarian of his rather large axe.
While Guthix Sleeps
Sloane has a small role in the While Guthix Sleeps quest, belonging to a collection of eight warriors that attempt to save the player from Lucien. He is one of the six soldiers that perish in the fight against Lucien. After the quest, he is replaced by Yadech Strongarm, who is seen wielding a tree branch in place of the axe he lost to Sloane, as the axe was never recovered from the battle.
Trivia
- Sloane seems to be the only Cape of Accomplishment owner who is replaced when he dies (besides Duradel before Kuradal had shown herself).
- Sloane is a Celtic/Gaelic name which means "strong protector."
- He seems to be wearing a leather body.
- In the fight during While Guthix Sleeps, he appears to be wearing Torag's Platebody and Platelegs.
- As of 17 November 2012, he has sold at least 198,208 skillcapes (assuming Yadech Strongarm did not sell any).
- Despite him having a combat level of 197 (Shown in While Guthix Sleeps), his Strength cape is untrimmed.
- His name may be a reference to the actor Sylvester Stallone in which have very similar last names, this could also be a tied reference to Stallones character, Rocky Balboa due to his strength.
