Shuddergob was a goblin chief in control of a large tribe of goblins found to the south-west of the Feldip Hills, in what is part of the Southern or Western Sea.

In the early Fifth Age, Shuddergob's tribe was terrorized by a dragon while living on a small volcanic island. Lord Marshal Brogan, the head of the then-recently-built Mobilising Armies outpost, moved the tribe to a safer, more tropical island. In the Year 112, Brogan returned and offered the goblins a place in his organisation. Whether Shuddergob is still alive is unknown.

It is possible that the island the tribe previously inhabited is the same island now used for the Hoard scenario.
