The Servant's Guild is a building located north of the marketplace in East Ardougne. Because players cannot actually join this guild, a better name would be the "Ardougne Domestic Service Agency" like the Chief servant states when you talk to him. At the Servant's Guild, players can hire servants for their player-owned house. At the head of the guild is the Chief servant, who provides basic information about how to hire a servant and the various services that they can provide for a player.
As of 1 July 2012 when you speak to the Chief Servant, he will tell you that the building is the Ardougne Domestic Service Agency.
Getting there
The best way to get to the guild is to cast Ardougne Teleport. From the market place walk north between the first two buildings. Behind them is the building with the guild. You can also use a home teleport to Ardougne once the lodestone for Ardougne has been activated.
Hiring a servant
All five servants wander inside the building except for the servant you have hired. Before hiring any servant, the player must meet three requirements:
- The player must have the required Construction level.
- The player's house must have at least two bedrooms with beds constructed in each one. If one of the beds is removed, then the servant will not become present again until the bed is rebuilt and the player exits and re-enters the house.
- The player must not have a servant already hired. If you want to switch servants, you must fire your current servant by talking to them in your house before going to the Servants' Guild.

Servant uses
- Servants may be used to effectively craft teleport tablets, because they can swap noted soft clay for unnoted.
- Servants cannot be used to train Prayer on an altar due to the fact that they won't unnote bones or ashes.
- Servants are commonly used to train Construction. The Butler is the most used servant because his fee is cheaper per item (32 coins) than the demon butler and he can carry 20 items from the bank in 12 seconds, which is perfect for training on oak dungeon doors because each one requires 10 oak planks and takes roughly 5 seconds to build and remove.
Trivia
- This is the only guild players cannot join.
