The Spectral sigil was released on 15 September 2008. It can be attached to a Blessed spirit shield to make a Spectral spirit shield. To attach the sigil to the blessed spirit shield, players need 90 Prayer and 85 Smithing.
It is only obtainable as an extremely rare drop from the Corporeal Beast or by trading with another player .

Trivia
- The Spectral Sigil appeared in the Grand Exchange database on 16 September 2008. All the other sigils appeared on 17 September.
- The Spectral sigil is currently the least expensive unique item from the Corpreal Beast.
- The reason behind the sigil's low price is because of items that are better or equal with the shield counterpart. The Sacred clay shield has equal defense to the shield verison.
