The Santa costume, also called the Santa suit, was the reward for the 2008 Christmas Event called 'Chasing Jack Frost'. Players are rewarded this from Santa Claus himself after freeing him from Jack Frost's ice sculpture. If you lose your santa suit players can receive a replacement from Diango in Draynor Village. Lots of people combine it with the Santa hat to make a full Santa outfit.

Due to the Santa Hat's high price, some players use the Fez as a cheap alternative to complete the suit. Some free players wear a red voting hat to complete the set, even though the colours do not match exactly. After the 2010 Christmas Event, many players choose to wear the Salty claws hat with this costume.

Trivia
- When the Santa costume gloves/boots first were introduced the examine information read, Some red and jolly gloves/boots., even though the gloves/boots were black. Jagex soon fixed this mistake to read: Some black and jolly gloves/boots.
- During the 2009 Halloween event, some players got multiple sets of the Santa suit from in Diango. It was removed the next day by Jagex.
- Some people believe that the merchant clans swayed the poll in the suits favour so the prices of Santa hats would go up.
- Some players choose to replace the Santa hat of the outfit with a Voting hat due to its inexpensive price and general availability.
- Wearing Santas top with shorts the player would look like he/she would have no pants.
- Wearing Santas legs while burying bones will cause the waist band to stretch in the back.
- A Santa Hood was originally intended to be a part of the non-tradeable set.
