Sandy is the CEO of Sandy Sand Co.. His office is located just north of the bar in Brimhaven. He owns all the sandboxes in RuneScape. He is featured in The Hand in the Sand, where it is revealed that he murdered a wizard and hid his dismembered body parts all over RuneScape. Players discover this by slipping Truth serum into his drink.
During and after the Back to my Roots quest, the player will obtain a hand part, then get additional body parts as drops from creatures in the Vine Maze.
He disappears after The Hand in the Sand. A later conversation with Bert seems to indicate that he was hanged for his crime. However it may also imply that he was decapitated, and that punishment seems more likely to be as it fits the crime (murdering a wizard then severing his body parts).
Trivia
- When not doing the The Hand in the Sand quest, when you go to talk to him, he will say "Sand is yellow, sand is grand, sand puts money, in my hand." which gives players a small clue.
- If you haven't started The Hand in the Sand and you attempt to pickpocket Sandy, "nothing interesting" will happen.
