A Royal d'hide body is made by crafting three royal dragon leathers. Wearing it requires 80 Ranged and 40 Defence. It requires 93 Crafting to make, and gives 282 experience. It has comparable bonuses to the armadyl chestplate but costs much less and has a lower magical defence bonus.

Trivia
- There is currently a glitch with this armour, when using an emote, or wielding an abyssal whip that causes the arm that holds the weapon to dismount off of the body. This also occurs when recoiling from hits, cutting wood, fishing with a harpoon or net, and smelting bars in a furnace.
- The release of this armour set made Karil's armour and Armadyl armour shoot down in price due to its superior ranged attack bonus and melee defence bonus. However, Karil's armour still is superior for magic defence.
