The Ranged armour trader was introduced into the beta version of the game to give away ranged equipment of a variety of levels to allow players to fully test the Evolution of Combat Beta.
The trader is located in Lumbridge courtyard, Grand Exchange southern entrance, Falador Square, and East Ardougne.

This NPC stocks 100 of each of the following items.
- Leather armour: coif, leather body, leather gloves, leather chaps, leather boots, leather shield
- Hardleather armour: Hardleather body, hard leather gloves, hard leather boots, hard leather shield
- Studded leather armour: Studded body, studded leather gloves, studded chaps, studded leather boots, studded leather shield
- Carapace armour: Carapace helm, carapace torso, carapace gloves, carapace legs, carapace boots
- Green dragonhide armour: Green d'hide coif, green d'hide body, green d'hide vambraces, green d'hide chaps, green dragonhide shield
- Blue dragonhide armour: Blue d'hide coif, blue d'hide body, blue d'hide vambraces, blue d'hide chaps, blue dragonhide shield
