The Promethium gauntlets (Tier 10) are a members-only item, worn in the hand slot, that can only be obtained and used while Dungeoneering. They require level 90 Defence to wear. They may be obtained as a monster drop, or produced using the Smithing skill.
They can be produced by using 1 Promethium bar with a hammer on an anvil, requiring level 91 Smithing and granting 91.5 smithing experience.
This is the highest tier of gauntlets that can be smithed while dungeoneering, and its bonuses are second only to Primal gauntlets. It is worth noting that Promethium gauntlets provide a +9 Strength bonus, which can make a significant difference to a player's maximum hit within the dungeons.
