The Priest of East Ardougne is a Non-interactive NPC who can be found in the relatively small church of East Ardougne. He inhabits the church along with Doctor Orbon and Councillor Halgrive. Unlike them, however, the Priest has no roles to play in any quests, and cannot be spoken to. Because of this, it is generally accepted that he is merely a background character to add atmosphere to the area. Interestingly enough, the symbol on the Priest's robes are not emblazoned with the traditional Star of Saradomin that most Saradominist priests are found to be wearing. Instead, this Priest's robes display a symbol which looks almost akin to the symbol of Iban, the self-proclaimed son of Zamorak. Because of this, some players believe him to be a Zamorakian, though it could also be a graphical inconsistency.
